Through this post we are releasing the scan of  Dharmaram College Diamond Jubilee Souvenir released in the year 2017.

The Souvenir published  to commemorate the Diamond jubilee of the  Dharmaram Group of Institutions, a congregation of Mary Immaculate, Bangalore started in the year 1957. The Souvenir contains a table of contents with six parts. Part I is describing the legacy and foundation of the College, part II contains the Blending of sacred and secular disciplines in formation. Part III consists of Evangelization Pastoral outreach of Dharmaram. In Part IV, Life, growth and flowering of Ecclesiastical Education is explained.  In Part V, Dharmaram and pioneering missions are explained. Part VI is about the Cloud of Witnessing voices of the Alumni.  It also contains editorial Board details, photographs of the visionaries of Dharmaram, various construction stages of the campus,  brief history about the origin and growth of Dharmaram College in Bangalore, photos of various events, details of Ordained Priests from the year 1960 to 2019 from the college.

Through this post, we are releasing the scan of the book,  Traditions of St. Thomas Christians written by A. M. Mundadan published in the year 1970

This book is written in two parts. In part 1 it describes about the Tomb of Mylapore and the traditions connected with it with a short review of  different opinions about the Apostolate of St. Thomas in India without entering into a critical evaluation of the arguments given for or against it. Of the greatest importance are the Portuguese  reports about the discovery of the tomb in 1517, about its opening by order of the Portuguese King in 1522 and about the local traditions concerning the apostle and his tomb for which Christian and non Christian witnesses were called in 1533.  In Part II, other traditions of the Christians of St. Thomas is explained in detail. Here, the Portuguese and Indian sources are examined for the chief event in the history of the Christians of St. Thomas. The author describes the social and socio ecclesiastical life of the Christians of St. Thomas their cult and liturgical life and their attitude towards the Latin rite and the Portuguese efforts of the Latinization.
